The National Examinations Council (NECO) has made known the 2022 Nov/Dec NECO GCE Timetable. In accordance with the schedule. The 2022 November/December NECO GCE/SSCE External Exam will be conducted between November 22nd and December 22nd, 2022.

GCE Registration 2022 Basic Guidelines/ Info for External Candidates
1. Note that once the registration cost is non-refundable after it has been paid.
2. The use of trustworthy cyber cafés is strongly advised, as the Council will not be held liable for any registration errors made by candidates. (A number of suggested cyber cafes across the country where candidates can log on to register are accessible on the NECO website – Internet Service Operators – or is physically on display at our State offices.)
3. Before proceeding with registration, the applicant must read and follow the directives written on the online scratch card.
4. Candidates should read the Regulations and Syllabuses.
5. Candidates should be aware that the images they upload during registration will be imprinted on their certificates.

Smoking cigarettes, cell phones, and other electronic communication devices are not permitted in the examination hall.
7. Candidates should appear in mufti, and no one with arms will be allowed inside the examination hall.
8. Multiple submissions are not permitted. Candidates who register several times will have all their results cancelled.
9. Candidates/ applicants who damage or lose their scratch cards must purchase a new card before registration
10. Please remember that no applicant will be permitted to enter the test hall once the examination has begun.
11. The use of a face mask is required in the exam hall.
12. Social and physical distance will be severely enforced/observed in the test hall or classroom.
Also note:
i. Candidates should confirm the specific Venues for Oral French, Arabic and Stenography I & IV from NECO State Office where they are sitting for the examination.
ii. Candidates should come along with their Computer/Laptops for Stenography Paper I &IV to the specified venue.
iii. The Nigerian languages i.e. Hausa. Igbo and Yoruba include the Literature aspect.
iv. BLIND CANDIDATES are to sit for the examination in their respective NECO State Offices and make use of the supplied Braille Sheet.
v. ALBINOS AND BLIND CANDIDATES are to be given 30 minutes of extra time across all papers.
vi. Use of Scientific Calculator is allowed.
vii. PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATOR IS NOT ALLOWED
viii. BRINGING GSM INTO THE EXAMINATION HALL IS PROHIBITED.
iv. For Technical Drawing I and IV, Candidates should come with their drawing instruments and material
